Join us for our first Men's Retreat this October! Men and boys ages 5+ are invited to come out Thursday evening through Saturday at Camp Inlow and enjoy fellowship, age appropriate activities, and messages on topics focused on the "priesthood of the believer". If you can't make it the whole time, that's okay. Come when you can!

Meet the Speakers
Kenny Hamlett
Kenny Hamlett is a Colonel in the US Air Force and serves in the Pentagon as a resourcing lead for Global Mobility and Special Operation Forces. He hails from Warner Robins, Georgia, and entered the Air Force in July 2001. He has flown more than 3,100 flying hours, including over 270 combat missions totaling 1120 hours. He holds a BS in Mechanical Engineering from Georgia Tech (GA), several M.A.s in Military History/Science, and just completed his M.Div. in Christian Ministry from the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary in Louisville, KY. He is married to his wife Amanda, and they have three grown children, Analysse (22), Kennedy (21), and Benjamin (17). His salvation story goes back to 1990 at the age of 11 where he professed belief in Christ and later in the early 2010s when God further opened his eyes to a fuller beauty of the gospel as stepped out of the Churches of Christ. Over his 12 moves during his marriage and military career, he and Amanda have served in the many local church ministries ranging from grade school, high school, college, and adult with their current ministry focused on teaching and mentoring middle school students. Over the past two years as members of Immanuel Bible Church (Springfield, VA), they have led middle school short term mission trips to KY. Kenny is in the phase of life of marrying off his two daughters and preparing to send his last child out of the house. He desires to continue in service to Christ and His church as a teaching-pastor at the conclusion of his military career.
David McManus
David McManus has served as the lead pastor at Freedom Bible Church since June 2022. He was previously the senior pastor at Plainfield Bible Church from 2017-2022. He was also previously the student pastor and then associate pastor at Berean Baptist Church in Fayetteville, NC from 2011-2017. David holds a BA in English and a BA in History from Emory & Henry College (VA), a M.Ed. in English from UNC Greensboro, a M.A. in Biblical Literature, and a M.Div. from Shepherds Theological Seminary in Cary, NC. He was saved out of a life of atheism, idolatry, and dysfunction in 2001, at the age of 23. David answered the call to ministry in 2011 after 11 years in the classroom (grades 7-12) teaching English, History, Psychology, Sociology, Speech, and Bible. He also coached basketball for many years. A former college basketball player, David has had the opportunity to travel and play overseas in several countries using the game of basketball as a platform to spread the gospel of Jesus Christ. He enjoys reading and sports, particularly the Pittsburgh Steelers. He also leads study trips to Israel annually. He is married to Kim, his wife, since 2004, and they have three sons.
Daniel Wardlow
Daniel Wardlow has been married to his wife Sarah since November 2006. Together they share three children Daniel, Jr. (17), Peyton (16), and Eli (12). Daniel has served Christ as a children’s Sunday school teacher, Adult Sunday School Teacher, Awana’s Sparks Director, and Deacon. Daniel currently is the Manager of Sales Operations in Hilton Head, South Carolina for Coca Cola Consolidated. Daniel has been in leadership within Corporate America since 2010 and is a ten year veteran of the United States Army with multiple combat deployments to Iraq.
Andrew Kovar
Andrew is a Southern California native ministering in the midwest alongside his wife, Jen (a Missouri girl). They have two kids, Dylan & Emma and a son-in-law, Emma’s husband, Evan.
Andrew loves surfing, jiu jitsu, fishing, and good tacos. Most importantly, he is committed to making disciples through spiritual formation and leadership development to raise and release the next generation of servant leaders for the church.
Andrew serves as the Young Adults Pastor for The Collective at the Crossing church in Quincy, IL.
